How To Lower Your
Cholesterol

You've just had word
from your doctor that your cholesterol is through the roof and
your triglycerides have skyrocketed... you have some tough
choices to make.
You have to choose to
be the one to take control of your health, before that phone call
from the doctor is telling you the next heart attack will kill
you. Get a grip, take control and realize that life has so
much more to give when you decide you want to live a healthful
life.
With a few simple
changes in your life (these won't hurt a bit) you can
significantly lower your cholesterol and all those bad levels
your doctor warned you about.
So muster your
courage, take a deep breath and move on with life in a healthful
way. You'll FEEL the difference, guaranteed.
1. Read labels
and nutritional value info. Packaged foods have notorious
quantities of fats, sugars and sodium. Be careful, be
vigilant and read your labels. Know what you're putting
into your body. Choose those with the lowest fats,
transfats, cholesterol, sodium and sugars. In general, it's also
a good idea to avoid any foods you can't pronounce.
2. Get up and
get moving! Exercise is ESSENTIAL to good health. It
is necessary for good circulation which benefits your heart,
lungs, muscles and energy levels, to name only a few. Get
out of that chair and walk your dog, dance for twenty minutes,
jog on the spot, jump on your bed or skip to thel loo. Get
moving! You'll live longer.
3. Use olive
oil. Not only is the flavor lovely, but it is healthy for
you. It's well worth eliminating oils and margarines and
using olive oil instead. It reduces your intake of trans
and saturated fats by quite a percent.
4. Learn
to eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables. Not only don't
they have cholesterol, but are good for you. Greens are
highly useful in eliminating fat and cholesterol from your body.
5. Get used to
eating the things that have good cholesterol. The healthy
kind that your body needs. Avocadoes, olive oil and fish
are all incredibly healthy for you.
Remember, this is
your time to shine. Your time to prove to yourself that
you're worth working on. Lower your cholesterol. It
begins a remarkable process that your body goes through on the
road to health.
